The Buena Vista girls basketball rolled to a quick start, leading 13-0 before the Spartan ladies could get onto the board. But the Salida comeback would nearly come to fruition, as they missed a go ahead bucket with seconds remaining in the game.
On the boys side, the Spartans would also come out slow, but after an 8-0 BV run, the Demons would lose momentum and couldn’t hold off a strong second half by Salida.
