Cooler and wetter conditions kept fire activity to minimum yesterday. 

The Aspen Acres Fire in Custer, Pueblo, Fremont, and Huerfano counties remains at just over 101,000 acres with containment holding at 61%. Both Pueblo and Custer counties are reopening several areas to residents, including the town of Rye.     

The Willow Fire in Lake County west of Leadville is almost 7,200 acres with 51% containment.

The Gold Mountain Fire burning in Montrose, Ouray and Gunnison counties is just over 38,000 acres with 24% containment.

Stage 2 Fire Restrictions remain in effect for all public and private lands in Chaffee, Park, Lake, Saguache and Fremont Counties.

Custer County has moved to Stage 3 Fire Restrictions. The highest level.
