[UPDATE] As of 11:30 am, power has been restored to a majority of customers.
[Original story] Xcel Energy is reporting a power outage affecting nearly 600 customers across Salida and Poncha Springs.
The reason for the outage is currently unknown. Crews are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. No estimate for restoration has been given.
