Plans For Gateway Along Oak Street and Highway 50 Continue

The City of Salida and the Colorado Department of Transportation continue to plan for a gateway along Oak Street (Colorado 291) and Highway 50.   

The intersection option that garnered the greatest support in a recent survey was a 5-legged roundabout.   

Transportation consultants have provided 3D renderings of how the roundabout could look and function.    

Consultants will provide a final report to the project team at the end of February. This report will be presented to the Salida City Council sometime in March for potential adoption.
