Meet Emma! She’s the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pet of the Week!
Emma is a 3-year-old female Boxer mix who is dog friendly! She is an adorable gal full of energy and love. Emma enjoys going on walks with our volunteers and is learning better leash manners every day! She excitedly greets us each morning, and gets the CUTEST zoomies. If you’ve been looking for a friendly and active dog, please consider Emma. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Fosters Needed

All adoptable animals receive the following services prior to adoption:
- Spay or Neuter
- Age-appropriate boosters
- De-wormer
- Vaccines
- Microchip
The Ark Valley Humane Society is open Monday through Saturday, from noon to 5 pm. Call (719) 395-2737 to schedule an appointment!
Shelter Together Matching Campaign
Thank you to everyone who donated during the shelter together campaign. We met our goal of raising $9,000 for Chaffee County Hospitality! This will translate to 160 nightsof respite in motel rooms for pet families in need! A special thank you to the Phillips, Fitzgeralds and Hamontre for generously matching all donations!
Good Pet / Bad Portrait
Our fourth annual Good Pet / Bad Portrait Fundraiser kicks off next Thursday. March 23rd! Our volunteer artists range in age and skill level, whether it’s a comical doodle, or a gorgeous masterpiece, we hope that the pet portrait will bring a smile to your face. Supplies are limited, so make sure to sign up on March 23rd, or shortly after, for a pet portrait at ark-valley.org/events/good-pet-bad-portrait/!
