Meet Coco! She’s the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pet of the Week!

Coco is a loving 13-year-old domestic shorthair mix who can be shy at first. She is currently in a wonderful foster home where she is warming up more and more each day. Once she warms up to you, she is quite the talkative cat. She has a wonderful personality that you will fall in love with! Coco does great with kids, has no history with cats or dogs. 

And because Coco is 13, she is considered “priceless”. So, her adoption is free!

All adoptable animals receive the following services prior to adoption:

  • Spay or Neuter
  • Age-appropriate boosters
  • De-wormer
  • Vaccines
  • Microchip

LaGree’s Pet Food Drive

LaGree’s Food Stores is hosting a pet food drive to benefit the animals of AVHS! Now through Sep. 16th, you can drop off pet food donations at either of their stores at bins in the front of each location. LaGree’s is graciously matching all donations, pound for pound, with their PAWS house brand pet food! 

Doggie Paddle & Benefit at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs

Join the Ark-Valley Humane Society at Mt Princeton Hot Springs’s Upper pools Thursday, Sep. 14th, for a Doggy Pool Party! From 2 to 7 pm, you can bring your pups for a swim in their upper pools! Admission is just $10 per dog. 100% of proceeds will benefit AVHS, and 50% of food and beverage sales will go to AVHS! We hope to see you there!
