Meet Buster! He’s the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pets of the Week!

Buster is a 3-year-old Australian cattle dog/shepherd mix. He got to spend a short time in a loving foster home where we learned a lot about him. He gets along with dogs both big and small, loves to go on hikes, and loves to swim in the water! He can be wary of new people, especially new men, but given time (and treats) he will become your loyal companion. Buster is back at the shelter now and ready to meet you today!

August Matching Campaign

In the month of August, all donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a maximum $17,000 dollars from generous donors Ruth & Greg Phillips, Sarah & Bob McMahon, Junia & Bill Fitzgerald, Cindy & Mike Newell, Judy Hamontre and Tom Purvis. Today is the final day of the August Matching campaign. We’re currently 96% towards our goal! Thank you to all who have donated! 

LaGree’s Pet Food Drive

LaGree’s Food Stores is hosting a pet food drive to benefit the animals of AVHS! From Sep. 3rd through Sep. 16th, you can drop off pet food donations at either of their stores at bins in the front of each location. LaGree’s is graciously matching all donations, pound for pound, with their PAWS house brand pet food!
