Park County Manager Lucas Meyer has been fired by the Board of Commissioners.
Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution stating that Meyer was terminated, effective August 31st in a meeting yesterday. The board did not give a reason for Meyer’s termination.
Meyer had been on paid administrative leave since August 21st. Earlier this year, a lawsuit was filed against Meyer by Park County Sheriff Tom McGraw, Undersheriff Steve Spodyak and Spodyak’s wife, Katie. The lawsuit alleged that Meyer spread defamatory rumors about the three. Meyer denies the allegation.
