Family and Youth Initiatives, in partnership with the Chaffee County Department of Human Services, will offer a Nurturing Parenting Class beginning January 14 and running through April 8.
The program is designed to support parents and caregivers by focusing on parenting with empathy, understanding child development, building strong family bonds, and using nurturing and effective discipline techniques.
Classes will be held Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Poncha Springs Town Hall. To help make the program accessible to families, free dinner and childcare will be provided during each session.
For more information or to register, interested participants can contact Marjorie Jennings at 719-530-2535.
