Colorado Parks and Wildlife have issued charges for several crimes to Michael Garcia of New Mexico after he allowed his dog to kill a fawn.
The 36 year old has been charged with illegal possession of wildlife, allowing his dog to harass wildlife and unlawful manner of take of wildlife. Garcia was near the Conejos River when the incident happened, posting pictures for the dead fawn on social media. Garcia could pay up to $1,372 in fines and an assessment of 20 licenses suspension points.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife investigated after hearing from members of the public in the San Luis Valley.
