The Beas Knees Citizens Race and the National High School Trail Championships are tomorrow. Both races are a 5.4 mile run on the Arkansas Hills Trail System and begins at the base of Tenderfoot Mountain.
This 10th annual features switchbacks, climbs, descents and rocks to give athletes the opportunity to showcase their strength, finesse and trail running prowess. High schoolers will start their races at 8:20.
The Beas Knees Citizen’s Race is an opportunity for any citizen to run on the same course, setting off at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday morning.
