Strong westerly winds gusting to 45 mph can be expected today. Higher elevations could see gusts of 75 mph. Due to the winds, fire danger is high. Red Flag Fire Warnings have been issued for many parts of the state.
A storm system is expected to bring rain and snow to the area later in the week.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 65. A low of 29.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 61, a low of 27.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 43 with a low of 21.
