A prolonged period of cold temperatures with rounds of light snow will spread across southern Colorado tonight through Wednesday night. The heaviest snow is most likely to occur tonight into Tuesday morning, and again Wednesday into Wednesday night. 

In general, snowfall rates are expected to remain light.  Our central mountains will see only a couple of inches from this storm. 

Salida and Buena Vista will see a sunny high of 51 today; an overnight low of 15.  Winds will be gusting to 30 mph out of the southwest. 

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 51, a low of 13.

Leadville and Fairplay will see a high of 27, a low of 1.
