A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect Monday, Dec. 12th, and Tuesday, Dec. 13th.
A storm system will move across our area bringing wind driven snow to the mountains. Up to 9 inches will be possible along the Divide. Travel will become hazardous, especially over high mountain passes.
Temperatures will be cooler this week.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 43. Look for an overnight low of 19.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 39, a low of 19.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 29 with a low of 5.
