Monarch Mountain is set to showcase more than 30 artist-designed snowboards as part of its 5th Annual Snowboard Art Show, a creative collaboration with the Salida Council for the Arts. The project gives retired snowboards new life, transforming them into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Each board featured in the exhibit is available for purchase. Ten percent of every sale will benefit the Salida Council for the Arts, with the remaining proceeds going directly to the participating artists.

An Opening Reception will take place this Sunday from 2–3 p.m. at Elmo’s Bar at Monarch, where guests can meet the artists and browse the full collection. The Snowboard Art Show will remain on display throughout the ski season.
