Monarch Mountain opened its long-anticipated No Name Basin today, significantly expanding the ski area’s lift-served terrain.
The opening adds 377 acres and 12 new runs to Monarch’s offerings, giving skiers and riders access to expansive views and a variety of new terrain. Resort officials describe No Name Basin as delivering a “distinctly Colorado mountain experience,” highlighting wide-open spaces and a backcountry feel while remaining accessible by lift.
The new terrain marks one of the largest expansions in Monarch Mountain’s history and provides additional options for guests as the season continues.
