Applications for the 2026 Monarch Mountain Impact Grant are open through August 28th. This year the Chaffee County Community Foundation will award up to $15,000 to 1-3 local nonprofit organizations whose projects reflect Monarch Mountain’s core values of environmental sustainability, recreation, humanitarian efforts, and fostering a supportive community.
The grant support projects that address identified community needs through thoughtful planning, measurable outcomes, and meaningful impact.
“These grants provide an opportunity to support organizations whose work enhances our environment, strengthens our community, and improves quality of life for residents throughout Chaffee County,” said Anna Hendricks, Director of Programs at the Chaffee County Community Foundation.
Competitive proposals will clearly define the community need being addressed, outline project activities, and demonstrate measurable outputs and outcomes. Applications supported by data and evidence of community impact are encouraged.
Eligible applicants must be IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, or operate under the fiscal sponsorship of an eligible nonprofit, and be in good standing with both the Internal Revenue Service and the Colorado Secretary of State.
