An investigation is underway after a man jumped to his death yesterday from the Royal Gorge Bridge.
According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the bridge to a report of a man jumping from the bridge. Deputies pulled surveillance footage, which confirmed the observations from several witnesses.
A short time later rafters on the Arkansas River observed what they believed to be human remains.
The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released as they are made available.
