Local businesses are encouraged to take part in the “Pinwheels of Possibility” Window Decorating Contest in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Hosted by Chaffee County Department of Human Services and Family and Youth Initiatives, the contest will kick off April 1. Participating businesses are invited to decorate their storefronts with pinwheels and messages of hope in support of children and families.
Winners will be selected by youth judges, adding a meaningful community-driven element to the event.
Organizers say the initiative aims to raise awareness and inspire positive messages throughout the community.
