Jason Keith Bessant, 51, of Parker, Colorado passed away doing what he loved, fishing and boating on Sunday, August 17, 2025. He was raised on a farm in Ninette, Manitoba. Due to his misadventures on dirt bikes and snowmobiles he discovered his love of tinkering and fixing anything motor related.. or the fact his dad taught him “you break it, you fix it.” After college, he moved to Colorado in 1995. Jason became friends with everyone who crossed his path, exploring the mountains with OHVs and snowmobiling. In 2012 Jason reconnected with the love of his life and her son, Jeff. They married in 2014. Zachary “his mini-me” was born in 2016. Jason was an owner of Big O Tires in Parker and was well respected and loved in the community. He had mentored many young men with the aspirations of becoming successful in the automotive repair industry. Jason’s motto was “work hard, play harder.”
He is survived by his wife Teri; sons Jeff and Zachary; parents, Darwin and Linda; sister Wendy; nephews Conor and Logan; many aunts, uncles and cousins residing in Canada.
