The Grizzly Creek Fire continues to shut down I-70 through Glenwood Canyon. I-70 remains closed in both directions from MM 116 to MM 140.
The Colorado Department of Transportation is advising westbound motorist to take U.S. 24 to Highway 285 to Poncha Springs where they can take Highway 50 to Grand Junction.
Eastbound travelers are being advised to take the same route, going from Highway 50 to Poncha Springs and then 285 to 24.
The cause of the 1,300 acre Grizzly Creek Fire is under investigation.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
