Human remains have been found on two separate properties in the San Luis Valley and multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, are investigating the discoveries.
The remains, found in Conejos County, are being analyzed “as part of the identification process” according to a CBI news release.
The CBI also said the discoveries do not appear to be connected to the Suzanne Morphew missing person case.
Morphew, a Chaffee County woman, was reported missing May 10 from her home near Maysville. Local authorities, CBI and the FBI are investigating the 49-year-old woman’s disappearance.
