The Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s Salida Health Center on West Highway 50 has opened walk-in clinic hours to the public.
The walk-in clinic will be open with limited hours, Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Limited services are available at this time—patents will be seen for mild sicknesses and minor injuries. No imaging or x-ray services are available, and lab testing is limited to those that do not require bloodwork.
The walk-in clinic is first come, first served and no appointments are necessary.
Patients with severe injuries, life-threatening conditions and medical emergencies should go directly to the Emergency Room.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
