SALIDA, Colo.—Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is excited to welcome general/trauma surgeon Zachary Green, M.D., to HRRMC’s medical staff.
Dr. Green will be seeing patients full-time in the general surgery clinic, located in the Outpatient Pavilion at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida. He will also be performing surgeries in HRRMC’s operating rooms.
A Colorado native, Dr. Green earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University’s Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Ill., returning afterwards to his home state for his general surgery residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colo.
Dr. Green has expertise in a broad range of procedures, with a special focus on minimally-invasive, robotic-assisted surgeries and techniques. HRRMC recently purchased a robotics system, which Dr. Green will be utilizing for specific patient surgeries. He combines technical skill with a commitment to innovation and excellence in surgical care. Dr. Green has a patient-centered approach and is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care, ensuring every patient feels informed, supported and confident throughout their surgical journey.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Green has a strong interest in surgical education and global health initiatives.
