Chaffee County Housing Authority(CHA) is reporting their progress on administering Proposition 123, Cycle 1. Chaffee County pledged to increase affordable housing by 3%, or by a total of 104 units, by the end of 2026. The County has exceeded that target with a total of 127 affordable housing units. .
Our region chose to work together, pooling the resources of all four jurisdictions in the county. The success is the result of many successful partnerships: CHA, the Chaffee Housing Trust, private developers, and local government, each doing a piece the others couldn’t do on their own.
