The Colorado Department of Transportation is expecting a significant increase in traffic on the state’s highways as people travel in higher numbers over the long Fourth of July weekend.
CDOT is asking drivers to engage in safe driving practices.
All CDOT construction and maintenance projects will be suspended beginning today to help minimize traffic impacts.
Statewide law enforcement officers will be keeping their eyes out looking for impaired drivers this weekend.
The Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado State Patrol and local law enforcement will conduct the Fourth of July DUI enforcement period today through Tuesday.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
