If you received a first dose COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, Feb. 5 at the Chaffee County fairgrounds, you are due back for your second dose this Friday, Feb. 26.
Please read the following information carefully.
The vaccine clinic will take place from 8 am to 5 pm and will take place completely within your vehicle. Please return to the Chaffee County fairgrounds, located at 10165 County Road 120 in Salida.
If you signed up for your first dose using HRRMC’s online scheduler, you are automatically pre-scheduled for your second dose. You will return at the exact same appointment time as you had for your first dose with one exception: All community members who received their first dose between the hours of 5-6pm will be scheduled to return between 8-9am for their second dose. This time change was made to avoid vaccinating anyone in the dark.
If you were a walk-in and received a first dose, but did not sign up using the online scheduler, please return for your second dose between 8-9am.
Please remember to bring your vaccine consent form and your vaccination record card back with you. These were attached to the informational packet you received at your first dose appointment. If you lost your vaccination record card, call our Medical Records department for a copy of your vaccination consent form from your first dose vaccination. Medical Records can e-mail or mail this to you, or you can come pick this up at the hospital. Their phone number is (719) 530-2285.
For any additional questions, please call (719) 530-2200, option 9 for COVID-19, and then option 1 for vaccine information. You can also visit HRRMC’s website at hrrmc.com and click on the COVID-19 vaccine page.
