The man who was killed last Friday in Westcliffe was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife, then stabbed in the back of the neck because he was “dying to slowly” according to the arrest affidavit.
37-year-old Guillermo Gomez-Buenostro was booked into the Custer County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 35-year-old Oscar Garcia-Gomez.
During advisements yesterday, District Judge Lynette Wenner maintained a no-bond hold for Gomez-Buenostro.
The next hearing in the case is scheduled for February 8th.
