Celebrating the life of
Gregory Alan Pace
10/02/1949-03/19/2026
Born October 2nd, 1949, Greg was the second oldest of six siblings. He loved his family dearly: Sisters Sherron, Beth, Marsha, Sue, & Brother Terry.
Greg attended Alamosa High School. After graduation, he joined the army and honorably served his country for four years.
Greg moved to Monte Vista to work at and eventually take over his dad, Clyde’s Body Shop, which became the place to spend your evenings for many friends and family members over the years. Greg loved the shop and all the people who spent time there.
Fly fishing, hunting, camping, and bowling were also passions of Greg’s. Countless memories and friends were made during times spent on these passions, If you could not find him fixing someone’s car in the shop, you could find him doing one of these activities. He loved being in the mountains with his family and friends, next to a campfire, or a small creek.
Greg had three children from his first marriage: Daughter Kerri, and Sons Eric and Alan.
On September 2nd, 1982, Greg married his love Vicki (Millsap) Pace.
Vicki brought her daughter, Charity, from a previous marriage, and Greg adopted her, gifting her his name. She, too, was his daughter. Together they welcomed two boys into the world, Joshua and Matthew Pace.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Louise Pace, Sister Beth Pace, and Son Eric Pace.
Greg awaits a joyful reunion with his beloved wife, Vicki; his daughters, Kerri and Charity; his sons, Joshua (Sandy), Matthew (Michaela), and Alan.
Also, sisters Sherron (Phil) Asay, Marsha (Glen) Sparrow, and Sue (Bill) Jeffries; his Brother Terry (Becky) Pace; and many cherished Nieces and Nephews, including, Roxane, Mike (Kim), August, Jacqueline, Danielle, Hayley, Adam, Jessica, Jaimie, Jordan, and Jacob. Greg’s legacy continues through his grandchildren- Jessica, Rayna, Lee, Dakota, Landon, Lexi, Walker, Sierra, and Da’Lonii- and his great- grandchild, Trezlee.
As well as countless cousins, friends, and community members whose lives he touched and who are far too numerous to name.
Greg’s smile, contagious laughter, and sense of humor will always be remembered by those who knew him well. Arguably, he could always make anyone’s day brighter!
Matthew 13:47 (ESV)
