The Canon City Daily Record is reporting that two people and a pet dog died in a residential fire Friday night in Cotopaxi.
Deer Mountain Fire Protection District had 15 firefighters on scene and Wet Mountain Fire sent 13 additional firefighters.
The names of the individuals who died will be released once their families have been notified.
