The Ark Valley Humane Society is continuing its annual Microchip and Pet ID Tag Clinic through Sunday at the Ark Valley Humane Society Shelter, located at 701 Gregg Drive.
Free services include:
- Microchip implantation for cats and dogs
- Engraved pet identification tags
Humane Society staff ask pet owners to follow a few guidelines:
- Cats must arrive in secure carriers.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash.
- Upon arrival, owners should leave their pets in their vehicles and check in at the front desk.
- Paperwork must be completed before services are provided.
- Wait times may vary depending on demand.
Microchips and ID tags greatly improve the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families. The Humane Society encourages pet owners throughout the Arkansas Valley to take advantage of these free services before the clinic concludes on Sunday.
