On July 30th, 2025, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office concluded a lengthy illegal drug distribution investigation in Buena Vista, CO. This press release was delayed to protect the integrity of other active investigations. Arrested as a result of the investigation was Chad Foreman age 55 from Buena Vista, Sevanah Lane age 25 from Buena Vista, Kayley Odell age 24 from Buena Vista and Chris Foreman age 52 from Buena Vista. All parties were booked into the Chaffee County Jail.
Chad Foreman was charged with Unlawful Distribution of Methamphetamine a class 2 Drug Felony and held on a $5,000.00 cash only bond. 66 grams (2.3 Ounces) of methamphetamine was seized.
Sevanah Lane was charged with Unlawful Distribution of Fentanyl a class 2 Drug Felony, Possession of Fentanyl a class 4 Drug Felony and she also had 4 active warrants out for her arrest at the time of her arrest. One of the warrants was a no bond hold. 110 fentanyl pills were seized.
Kayley Odell was charged with Criminal Mischief and Trespassing. She held on a $500.00 personal recognizance bond.
Chris Foreman was charged with Accessory to a Crime and held on a $500.00 personal recognizance bond.
All parties are considered innocent until/ unless proven guilty in a court of law.
