Scattered thunderstorms are possible today. 

Drier, hotter conditions are in store for the weekend. 

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 89.  A low of 53. 

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 87, a low of 51.   

Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 75 with a low of 41. 

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to ramp back up next week.
