Forecast for August 4th

Daytime highs will be a little cooler today with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. 

Areas of moderate to heavy smoke from out-of-state wildfires can be expected again today. 

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 89.  A low of 55. 

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 87, a low of 51.   

Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 73 with a low of 41.
