Chaffee County Public Health has started to receive its first shipments of the new Covid vaccine.
For those who have Medicaid as an insurance, are uninsured, or underinsured, Public Health has limited supplies of Moderna vaccine for ages 6 months and older. It is expected that Public Health will receive its commercial market and private pay inventory at some point in the first or second weeks of October.
Chaffee County Public Health does not have the new Covid vaccine for people with private insurance or Medicare at this time.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee.
