The First Presbyterian Church in Salida will host a community forum next week focused on immigration education and discussion.
The event, titled “Immigration 101,” is presented by the church’s Justice and Advocacy Committee. The evening will highlight immigrant stories while also exploring common myths and misconceptions about immigration.
The forum is scheduled for next Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 7 Poncha Blvd., Salida.
Organizers say the event is free and open to the public, and child care will be provided. All community members are welcome to attend.
