The FIBArk Whitewater Festival is in full swing and continues through Sunday, featuring a dynamic mix of river sports, live music, parades, and community fun at Riverside Park and Whitewater Park.
🛶 Friday Events – River Action & Live Entertainment
Today’s schedule includes:
- Surf Contest
- Raft and SUP Sprints
- Raft Cross
- SUP Boxing
At Riverside Park, families can enjoy the Kid’s Zone, carnival rides, and live music from 3 PM to 10 PM.
🎉 Saturday Highlights – Parade, Races & Breakfast
Saturday kicks off with a Pancake Breakfast at the Salida Community Center from 7:30 to 10 AM featuring:
- Pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage
- $12 for adults, $6 for kids under 12
Other Saturday events include:
- 10K Road Race
- FIBArk Parade at 10 AM
- Slalom Races
- Hooligan Race at 5:30 PM, a fan favorite featuring creatively constructed, nontraditional rivercraft
🐶 Sunday Finale – Downriver Races & Crazy River Dogs
The festival wraps up Sunday with:
- Downriver Races on the Arkansas River
- The hilarious and much-loved Crazy River Dog Competition
