Farmer’s Almanac Predicts Snowy Winter For Colorado

It’s the first day of fall, so it’s time to start prepping for cold weather. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, it could be a long winter.

The Farmers’ Almanac released its 2019-2020 winter outlook.

“Our extended forecast is calling for yet another freezing, frigid, and frosty winter for two-thirds of the country,” shares Farmer’s Almanac Editor Peter Geiger. As for Colorado, the Farmers’ Almanac is predicting a frigid and snowy winter, with above-average amounts of snow.

It also says the coldest periods will be from mid-December to early January and from late January into mid-February.
