Petitions for those wanted to run for Salida City Council, City Treasurer and Mayor positions in November are available and able to be circulated for the first time Tuesday, August 6th.
Petitions can be picked up from the Deputy City Clerk at Salida City Hall.
The signed and completed petitions must be returned to the clerk’s office by August 26.
Candidates for the Buena Vista School Board can pick up petitions beginning on Wednesday and are due back by August 28.
Five of the seven seats are the Buena Vista School Board are open in the November election.
