Ark-Valley Humane Society (AVHS) is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Feline & Fido Calendar Contest, now celebrating its 10th year of raising critical funds for homeless pets in need.
During this contest, anyone may submit photos of their beloved pets to be featured in the 2026 AVHS Calendar. Entrants are encouraged to rally friends, family, and social media followers to vote in the contest and help their pet rise to the top! It is $5 per photo submission and $1 (with a $5 minimum) to vote in the contest.
The pet with the most votes will have their photo featured on the cover of the 2026 AVHS Calendar, and each of the top 12 photos with the most votes will be a featured pet photo for one of the twelve months. All other photos submitted will be featured in smaller photos throughout the calendar.
The contest will start Monday, September 29th at 8:00AM and end Sunday, October 12th at 9:00PM.
Throughout the contest you can also pre-order a 2026 AVHS Calendar as an additional way to help shelter pets and proudly display the photo of your pet.
Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 photos, but everyone is a winner in making a difference for AVHS shelter animals!
