With a dusting of snow already visible on the high peaks, ski season is just around the corner. Monarch Mountain is preparing for winter with a nearly 400-acre expansion, featuring a dozen new runs, including beginner and intermediate terrain, along with a new lift and a warming hut.
Meanwhile, Ski Cooper is offering season passes starting at $399 for adults, available through September 30.
