The district tournaments are here, and three local teams are alive with a chance at state!

Here is a map to where, when and what station you can catch the action on!

Eagle Country 104

The Tri-Peaks League/District Tournament will be heard on Eagle Country 104, with games for the Buena Vista girls and Salida boys as the participants. All of the games will be held in Florence at the High School.

• The Buena Vista girls will play Lamar at 10 am on Friday morning. Pregame will begin at 9:30.
• The Salida boys will play La Junta at 2:30 pm on Friday afternoon. Pregame will begin at 2.

Both teams will move on to play in either the 5th or 7th place games on Saturday.

The Peak 92.3

The Cotopaxi Pirates are playing in District 6 action this weekend as well live from Del Norte.

• Games will begin on Friday night at 6:00 pm for the Pirates, with the girls playing Moffat. The boys are set to follow at 7:30 pm against Primero.

It’s win or go home for the Pirates, with the winners moving on to the regional championships March 7th in Gunnison.
