David passed away at 62 on January 21, 2026. He was born October 10, 1963. He lived in Salida CO and was born in Thornton CO.
Growing up, he lived in Buena Vista CO and the Temple/Belton TX area.
He started working at a young age to support his mother and sister, but his passion was tennis which he regretfully never got to fulfill professionally.
He did many jobs but worked as a Drywall Contractor for 40 years in Texas and in Salida CO.
He shared a loving life and relationship of 13 1/2 years with the love of his life, Pamella Rose.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Angel Newsom. He is survived by his sister Misty Soules Herry; niece Michaella Hutchinson; nephew Logan Herry.
son Christopher Soules and grandson Cage Soules; daughter Amber Soules Carberry, grand daughter Dilee Carberry and grandson Thoren Carberry.
He leaves behind many friends and family that he loved and love him dearly. David had an infectious smile and laugh, a love and zest for life and the great
outdoors, never met a stranger that he didn’t leave an imprint on their life helping, mentoring and sharing words of wisdom.
He loved riding on the tractor with his dog Willow; his old cat Mai Ling and his shop cats Zena, Rascal Rose and Beautiful Baby Bella Rose, who he would
serenade with his singing and party lights into the wee morning. He LOVED his motorcycles and riding with his Brothers. He loved fishing, the beach and
the mountains. He loved traveling with his woman and Oreo Cookies!  He was so happy outdoors!
He is already greatly missed. There will never be another like him. So RIP My Love! Heaven has received a beautiful soul and spirit!
