Dark Sky Salida, Garna, and the Mobile Earth and Space Observatory is hosting a Star Party tonight at Valley View Nature Learning Center.
Learn about the night skies and experiment with solar and celestial telescopes, spectroscopy, infrared cameras, an augmented reality sand table and gravity wells from MESO’s mobile observatory. Prepare younsters for a scavenger hunt and s’mores, plus explore Star Party exhibits from 6:30-9:30 PM

Due to limited parking at the Valley View Nature Learning Center, please carpool and plan to meet and park at the Salida Regional Airport (9255 Co Rd 140, Salida, CO 81201). Handicap spots will be available at the Valley View if need be.
GARNA will run a shuttle between the Valley View Nature Learning Center and the airport, with vans shuttling to and from the airport starting at 6:30 PM until 9:50 PM.
