A Custer County Sheriff’s Office employee has tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement released yesterday, Custer County Sheriff Shannon Byerly said the department received notification Monday of the positive test.
In response, the lobby of the sheriff’s office has been closed for this week and will reopen on Monday. The Custer County Sheriff’s Office, however will not be offering fingerprinting, urinalysis, or other services requiring entrance into the office area until the department has been cleared through testing.
