The COVID-19 vaccine for the 2025–26 season is now available for everyone 6 months and older. Health care providers, public health agencies, pharmacies, and medical professionals can now administer the updated vaccine.
Insurance coverage may vary, so residents are encouraged to check with their insurance provider before scheduling. At this time, Chaffee County Public Health only has doses available for those with private insurance, but expects to have supply soon for Medicaid recipients and uninsured residents.
