Chaffee County public health is reporting 12 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 7 days, 24 in the last 14 days for a 2-week positivity rate of 1.7 percent. 

Colorado is moving to Phase 2 of its Covid-19 vaccination distribution which is the general public ages 16 and older. 

Chaffee County has available appointments for the general public at this Friday’s vaccination clinic at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds.

To date, just over 14,000 Covid-19 vaccination doses have been administered to Chaffee County residents. 

In the upcoming days, the general public should see additional vaccination clinics from numerous providers to meet demand. 

In the meantime, public health officials are reminding you to continue to protect each other by wearing a mask, physical distance, and stay home with symptomatic.
