A couple previously described as “person of interest” in a homicide that happened last week in Canon City have now been charged with murder.
They are awaiting extradition back to Colorado.
The man and woman were located and detained on unrelated drug charges in North Carolina. The pair are accused of murdering 39-year-old Richard Fay in Canon City.
Detectives are urging anyone with information relevant to the case to contact the Canon City Police Department.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
