The Chaffee County Fair and Rodeo continues at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds.
Today’s activities include the 4-H Round Robin, the Buyers Reception at 4:30pm, 4-H awards at 5:30pm, the Junior Livestock Sale at 6pm followed by music from DJ Deano Maes.
Saturday is a big day at the fair starting with activities at 10am like the stock dog demonstration, horseshoe pitching, bike rodeo and antique tractor pull. The catch a pig contest starts at 11am. Other activities throughout the day include a hot dog eating contest, water balloon fight, ice cream social and the Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry at 4:30pm. The Ranch Rodeo starts at 6pm followed by the rodeo dance featuring the Eric Golden Band.
