The Cotopaxi Pirate football team made history last fall when they played their homecoming game under lights in the first night game in school history.

Now they are looking to make it a continual thing. Over the years, members of the community have put together the equipment and gotten in touch with the people needed to put it together, and now it just comes to funding the project.

The goal is 20,000 dollars, and a go-fund-me has been set up you can find here. (at the writing of this, $1,500 had been raised)

Scheduling for night games has already been made for the 2020 season, and the hope is they will not have to bring in portable lights as they did in 2019.
